The mushrooms of Spring

A little off-topic but I was wondering if anyone here forages for morels at this time of year? They should be up any day now and I am planning lots of walks in the woods over the next few weeks attempting to find some. One tip I have heard a lot is that they sometimes show up growing on the wood chip that Councils put down on their flowerbeds so I'm watching all my local deposits of that stuff as well.

I would love to Adam, but am a bit worried that I'll poison the family. I went as far as buying a book, but have never got round to it.
