Excel eyelets
I got a stoker today for the excel.....on its first try tonite. The stoker probes do not fit the excel eyelets. Its at the end where there is a rubber grommet to hold the wires into the probe. Anyone else use a stroker and have this problem? Looks like I have to take that rubber off, but dont know if it will ruin the probe or not.

I have never used a stoker but I got to ask you why you would need one..??
I find the bullet cooker run pretty darn consistent once they are dialed in.

Re: Excel eyelets
because I live at almost 8000 feet altitude....and it is not very easy to maintain a consistant fire. The first couple cooks, I could never get the fire above 220 without using a fan from the house to blow into it, then when I would remove the fan, it would stay for about 10 minutes, then drop. First cook with the stoker a couple nights ago I dialed in 240, took 35 minutes to get to that temp and it stayed their for the whole 5 hours I cooked ribs on.
