Smoking in cold temps
Has anyone used their pro in cold temps?
I`m in Quebec ,Canada and intend to use my smoker this winter at minus 20/30 to see what the outcome will be.
Any suggestions?

Re: Smoking in cold temps
I have used mine in the snow here but never that low of a temp. A great idea would be to wrap it in a waterheater blanket I know you can get them cheap there. I have know other to build a wind breah from plywood and others wrap a heavy moving blanket around cookers. A welding blanket would be one of the safest bets.

Thanx guys will give it a shot.
Did a 3 week event at the start of the year in Mont Tremblant.9/10 Hours a day in minus 16c under a gazebo.
Froze our butts off.Being a Mad South African from Durban,we like a challenge.
We often have a BBQ in winter, have alot of friends around.I spend most of the time outside with the smokers(puffers),with the other guests looking on through the windows.
It`s all good fun
