Royal Q recruitment drive - join the team!!!

After competing in two BBBQS competitions Neil and I have decided it would be good to find another member to join the team. We can't promise glory and riches but we can promise a good time and some good food (at least the brisket )

To be a part of the team, there are few pre-requisites but we compete for fun and if you want to be part of the team you're going to need to have a sense of humor. We're looking for someone with the following qualities.

1. You have to love smoking - food that is, anything else you love to smoke is no concern of ours!
2. Ideally you'll already have a smoker or be in the market for one
3. Sense of humor and not being easily offended is key, we can be quite racy in our sense of humor, we behave around Adie's kids but when we're Qing at home the wit can be saucier than the ribs.
4. We want someone who is reliable and wants to do the competitions. We won't lie to you they're hard work at times and it's not the cheapest hobby either. Typically we have to hire a van to get to comps then there's the entry fee, ingredients costs and the beer bill. There's no point making out it costs nothing but we think it's well worth it.
5. Ideally we want someone in or around Reading so that we can all get together, do some cooking and practice. We all need to get along and socialise a bit because that's what you need at a comp. Team mates need to be mates when they're not Q'ing.

So if you fancy joining the team, give us a shout, we'd love to hear from you. Main thing to remember is we do this for fun, it's a hobby and if we win anything at a comp it's a bonus but the comps are good for just the beer and the banter as far as we're concerned.
