damage to my pro q excel

First and foremost let me say, i love this smoker, i really do, its a piece of artwork, everyone who sees it is impressed. With that being said, i recieved my smoker from freds slightly damaged, i got number 10. I say slightly because it is still very usable, and has cooked up some of the best tasting pork chicken and ribs i have eaten yet!! The bottom bowl has 3 good sized, about 1 inch dents, that are scuffed to metal. One of the stackers that was packaged with the grill is quite out of round, and 2 out of 3 doors have a nice bend to them, definitely different from how it was packaged. And the brackets inside that hold the grill/water pan were bent, i bent them back. I wasnt gonna complain, its a smoker, but as i realize my bottom bowl may be subject to a rusting condition due to the bare metal, and the out of round issue, most levels of my smoker leak quite badly, and tends to be running hot. I figured id reach out and see who could help me out a little.

Call Fred's and talk to Toby. I bet they'd ship you another one.

well smoke to freds, havent reached toby yet. They say that they recieved some of them damaged in their original shipping crate...ie tractor trailer, they will be more than happy to help remedy the problem, but i gotta speak to toby, he'll be in tomorow?? hopefully all goes well.

I have gotta tip my hat to ian, he is more than willing to help me with anything i needed. Offered to send me the doors out asap, as far as the rest goes we will see how freds handles things. I have a gut feeling they will do the right thing.
