Cooking on a WSM right now. Hope to have a Pro Q Frontier soon. The others under cover are a Weber Performer (stainless) and a Weber One Touch Silver. The Gray covered is my ash can.

Impressive to say the least . . . which bank did you hold up to pay for 'em all?

Guess I'm just lucky. My wife works for a BBQ store. www.adventuresinheat.com I get to cook on all the demos. My favorites are the Primo XL and the Weber Smokey Mountain. I personally don't care for off set's, and I have just about cooked on them all. Thing I don't like is that there is too much fooling around with them. And yes, I have cooked on a Klose. I prefer to cook direct over coals. But that's just me.

Do you use your WSM without the water pan, or did you just mean you prefer charcoal to gas or electric cookers?

I use it with and with out. With water, sand, and no water pan. Geesh I sound like Dr. Seuss. Laughing I do have a gasser for small catering jobs. But prefer lump and wood.
