Mack.. dumb question but do I need to do anything special to slip the probe through the probe eyelet hole? Mine gets caught right where the probe meats the cable..

Mind you.. if you tell me I should get a new probe and because the one I'm using needs replacing.. just let me know.. I'm all for new things! Laughing

No, it shouldn't need replacing, it's usually just the way they have crimped the sheath onto the wire... if you get some pliers you can just round the crimped part off a bit and the probe will go through fine.
