Missing in action!

Sorry for not being on here much in the last week people, I've had a really hectic time...
First off, I spent Monday and Tuesday demonstrating Smoking to 200 Chefs in Sheffield, got home and have been moving house since, finally all in, but no phone or internet there yet.

Moving itself is not fun, but it is kind of nice to get setup in the new home. Did you move far?

Not to far Mike, about 3 miles... it's good to get rid of a load of junk the has collected over the years, only one problem though, I now don't have a BBQ, as we're sold out of Excel's (even my demo model), so I guess I'll have to wait for the new shippment to arrive at the end of July.

I do have a WSM, with ProQ Stacker, that may come in handy

Hi Mack glad the move went well, I move almost every single day ! because I do removals for a living Are there any bbq/smoking classes that you offer or know off in the UK ? I did my first couple of bbq's the other day beer can chicken and jerk pork more than pleased with the results and I promise to take pics next time. I would probably do bbq every other day but then wife would think thats a step to far.

One quick question does anybody know of any shops in the UK that sell liquid smoke as I have to order mine in from the states ?

Don't know of any BBQ courses, but if you're coming down to Cornwall, I'd be happy to fire up a Q with you, although I think you'll glean enough info from this and other forums to boggle your mind (I like to keep things as simple as possible, as I am easily confused). There is a lady up north that does some food smoking courses (was going to go on one, just for a look see, but ran out of time) http://www.steppingoff.co.uk/SmokyJosHome_000.htm , let us know if you decide to go on one, as I'd love to see what she does.
Although I don't advocate the use of liquid smoke, we do usually sell some on our site www.essentialbbq.co.uk and should have some stock within the next week or so.
