What a Day!
I started off this morning getting both of my grandchildren for the day (both are 7 mths). Smoked 3 whole chickens this morning and smoked 6 racks of ribs after the chickens. All done on my new Pro Q Frontier and done by the members suggestions such as Roxy with the mixed fuel of lump and briqs. Split my whole chickens out like shown on this forum. Wrapped my ribs in tin foil after 3 hours (never did that before) and smoked another hour or so. Put my grandbabies in a little pool by the smoker. Watched their splashing and smiles and laughter. Nice breeze ALL day long. What a day!!! Thanks to everyone. The chickens were juicy and absolutely great. Just took the ribs off and chopped up in pairs. WOW! How great they taste. They just fell apart. I am saving them for Memorial Day eating. What a day! Some days is just hard to beat. Hope all of ya'll have a great weekend and holiday!

Re: What a Day!
Well, here is pixs of both of my grandbabies, Madison and Alexis. They were outside playing in a small pool while I was smoking ribs. I also grilled this plate of chicken cordon bleau(sp), potato planks, and skewer of corn on cob and peppers.

Nice looking food!!! I wish we were blessed with the same weather as you guys.
It's just a real shame those bambinos are too young to appreciate it. Nice to see the next generation of smokers learning the trade early
