Look what I did!
Hey, I did my first smoke yesterday & I couldn't be happier, two chickens I put on rub the night before (more on the floor than on the birds)
I should have got two racks, but i didn't, this seemed appropriate (though it was a bit to tall)
It was the first time the Frontier had been used, so I set it up to burn for 2 hours before I put on any food, but with hot water it got right up to temp straight away
Two hrs in I sprayed them with apple juice, turned them around & added another foil pack of cherrywood
Another hour in & I did the apple spray again & added some corn (with butter salt pepper & olive oil)
And here are the results!

Re: Look what I did!
Looking good man and you obviously have good taste in beer too
I told you it ain't that hard didn't I...... I think the thing is to start simple and then start varying the rubs, smoke wood, temps etc and see what makes things better.
