Hey gang,
My name is Bill, I just joined your site. I am from Ventura County in California, which is a great place to live.
I have been Qing for a while, and competing since 2004. Our team name is Tropical Heat BBQ. I am also a Board Member for the California BBQ Association.
Currently, I use a Klose offset for comps, and have a Bar-B-Chef (highly modified) offset, along with several other charcoal and gas units.
I am looking to buy the Excel when it comes out. So I am sure I will be needing some tips and tricks when I get it.

Thanks for the welcome.
I will try to do that this weekend. Might have to knock the cobwebs off of it, have not used it in quite a while. Usually just cook on the Klose.
I am looking at selling it anyways, now that I have the Excel. So pics will be needed.
Do you have one of these (BarB Chef, Brinkman offset, etc.) type of smokers? If you have any questions about them, please feel free to PM me.
