White Veal

Well, I went to Belgium on Thursday last week and stayed with Kurt (Belgium BBQ Champion) for a couple of days.
Kurt is an accomplished chef and competes internationally on the BBQ circuit, he also runs a very busy BBQ catering company, where he is renowned for his innovative style of cooking. www.traiteurmatthias.be
While I was there, he introduced me to a new product, White Veal...







All I can say is that it was truly delicious and Kurt sent me home with a "Rack" of this fine meat, which I will be cooking soon.

Though I am very fond of veal, it is not so fond of me...too rich for my system. That plate looks amazing though...bet it was good!

That looks great.
We eat a lot of veal here as the French have no qualms at all about it. Very different to the UK where it is almost impossible to find!!
We currently have about 12Kgs of various cuts in the freezer which we shall be munching through over the next month or so.
Perhaps if you ever to get to vist you can try some!!
