Roll on Saturday
Hello everybody, I am very excited.
Should have recieved my first excel yesterday but I am currently working nights and missed the delivery man as I was asleep!!! Saturday morning is new eta, so lots of prepairing today as I have the next three days off to have some fun and make loads of mistakes. I am sure I'll be asking very many questions over the next few months and look forward to learning lots of tips and tricks as I have never attempted to bbq/smoke before.
So to start with. Is it ok to cook straight out of the box?

You will love your Excel 20. Fire her up with maybe 1/2 basket of charcoal, no water in the pan, and all vents open. That should be a good break-in.
Absolutely post picture of your smokes and definitely feel free to ask questions.
