On the Lamb

Getting set to smoke a leg of lamb over pecan today for the family. Going to keep it very simple and hope for the best. Very Happy

Rosemary, basil, white pepper, black pepper,sea salt and paprika.

That's a great looking piece of meat Doc, I can't wait to see the results.

It's not fair that you're smoking while the rest of us have to work!

I'm going to lay it on just before I head out to work and let my son monitor it while I'm away.

It's going to be his first time smoking a lamb and I'll be in touch via phone tag with him from work but I don't think he will have any issues. He's eleven years old and the only thing in his way is the Nintendo Wii. lol

I'll try and remind him to take pictures. Smile

Just finished four racks of ribs to take to the guys in the shop at work ( they help me when I need welding etc. done) as a surprise and a thank you.

The lamb is in and i'm off to work...

Well he calld me to say it was hammering with rain and that it was time to take it off, I reminded him to put a coat on and he refused!! A true outdoor cook in the making right there. Very Happy



They didn't get many photos but some of them came out well.

I think it was really good but I'm a dad.lol Seriourly it was very nice to the point that he and his sister enjoyed dinner and the both of them are not fans of lamb.
