Herbed up Leg of Lamb
Leg of lamb, lovingly massaged with EVO and a mixture of herbs and spices, mint, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.
Up close (al la Marco)
On the Q.
I has a chicken on the level below, so popped another pan in, to stop the juices from the lamb dropping onto the chicken.
I hour in... looking good, wood used for smoke was Hickory.
After 4 hours, she's done and ready to come off and rest awhile, I didn't measure the internal temp... just took a flyer.
The result was moist and tasty
In retrospect, I could have let it go another hour, but as usual the wailing of hungry children was too much to bear, so using 3 stackers, I removed the water pans and cooked it on the top rack for the last 30mins.

Very nice, that looks like something I could eat!!
I had lamb once and it was not my favorite, but maybe it needs to be cooked different. I think I should give it a shot.

I don't usually like lamb but after looking at your cook I think I will give it another try . . . ala Mack.
