Re: Coconut Shell Charcoal
Yup, it does look expensive,
When I used to use the old style 'boxed' coconut charcoal, I could keep temps up with little problem. With the bagged stuff, i struggle to maintain the temperature over a period. I can do it by mixing it with the lump wood (very generously donated), but i'm always on the lookout for something similar to the old stuff.
I'm running low on Don Marco's Pig Wing Rub, & my wife's addicted - Time to re-stock, if i get chance i'll drop in!

Pull in! It will be good to catch up again... Pig Wing rocks!
On the cocoshell front, CPL are talking of discontinuing thier version, so I may have to look at bring some of the good stuff in from Europe.

Thanks Mack
On another note...maybe a stupid question, are you MACs BBQ in Cornwall yourself..??...reason I ask is that I have completed the "contact us" form on the website twice looking to speak with someone prior to ordering a Frontier / Excel.......had no response as yet
Still looking to get a smoker but wanted some advice first, hopefully you can help if it is you, or I can try elsewhere....be good if you could help though
Cheers

Re: Coconut Shell Charcoal
Hi Jambo,
Haven't had an email from you, but it's probably best to give us a call on 01726 851495, as it would be easier to explain things over the phone (we're very slow at typing and there's a lot to talk about).
