Ian:
I am sure you could sell the dang water pan on its own as I have heard from more than a couple WSM owners that have sought out a larger water pan for the cooker..

Re: Larger Water Pan for WSM
It is one of a number of genuine problems that weber constantly fail to address. They tend to believe that they know best and that they need no pointers from the floor on design aspects. Which I have to take issue with them, I mean who in their right minds would design a smoker lid that fits inside the lip instead of overlapping it?
They have efectively designed a superbly built, asthetically pleasing, dual purpose water butt!
At least Ian can remedy their water pan problems for them.
Mine should be here mid week!!

Got my new Water Pan from Pro Q, fits like a glove, you would think it was made for the job.
The service was rediculously quick.
Cheers Guys,
I should be able to leave the smoker longer without having to tend the water pan every five mins now.

Re: Larger Water Pan for WSM
Most folks purchase the Brinkman Water Pan to mod their WSM's...if the Pro-Q is comparable in size, quality, and price I'm sure many more would consider them...myself included. Here's a link to the Brinkman Pan. (to compare) http://www.brinkmann.net/Shop/Detail.aspx?category=Outdoor+Cooking&subcategory=Charcoal+Smokers+%26+Grills+Replacement+Parts&sku=114-0004-0&id=68

I'm with you JD,
I've always heard of the Brinkman pan, but if you have a frontier, why not get an extra pan...

Re: Larger Water Pan for WSM
The Frontier Pan I bought from Mack was a perfect fit and I have used it on a number of occasions. In fact I have had a go at Feeneys Roast potatoes in the Frontier pan on the WSM.
All in all, the Frontier pan could have been made to measure.
