New Toy - F. Dick Brine Pump

If you like to inject your pork butts these are amazing!!! Jackie from Mad Cows BBQ showed me this at this year's American Royal, she injected a lot more into the meat than I ever have but it really makes a difference. I bought one these as soon as I got back.

Looks like a great piece of kit Steve. Any idea of the capacity?

Mack, it's basically a large pump with a syphon tube running from it, you just stick the end of the tube in your injector liquid and pump away so its capacity is as big as your container. The tube also has a mesh filter on it so it doesn't pick up any particulate matter that could clog the needle.

I'm going to use mine for the first time on Saturday to inject a turkey and a piece of pork shoulder, I'll get some pics of it in action.

At the Royal Jackie pumped a massive amount into her pork butts, it was over a pint!!!!
