Re: Roxy’s Kansas City Style BBQ Sauce
Not bad. Made up a batch last night. Only thing is I went easy on the mace, allspice and cinnamon. Cut it by half initially. Personally I liked it with half the amount of mace and allspice.
I do know that Kansas City boys do like their allspice and cinnamon so this is a really nice sauce.

I do like this sauce and its great with ribs. With some time you will be able to up the seasonings to the recipe and find it O.K.

Tried the sauce on some ribs today. Whole different ballgame . I may just add in a pinch more allspice and maybe the mace too. This is a really nice sauce. Kudos, Roxy!

Re: Roxy’s Kansas City Style BBQ Sauce
The thing is, if you look at some of the rub recipes that are "Kansas City" style they include mace and allspice. Then you get another shot of them in the sauce and for my taste it can be a bit much but if your rub does not have any of these spices then this sauce recipe, IMHO, gives a nice bit of the flavouring without over powering the taste buds.
Glad you had a good days BBQ my friend.
