To date since this new addiction has hit me, I have a Pro BBQ and purchased a WSM back in September.

Member of the Diva Q Team and had the greatest pleasure of meeting Ian back at the Canadian Open in Barrie.

When Not Representing the Society...

Post  ILBBQS.com on Wed Jan 23, 2008 4:13 pm

I cook on a Good-One Chuckwagon trailered smoker, by Ace of Hearts BBQ Specialties, at contests; use it at home too. I also have a Weber Gas Grill, 2 Weber Kettles (both around 15 years old), and 'Frankensmoker'...a smoking beast created from the parts of two old water smokers. I use the BBQ Guru with Frankensmoker but not with any other cookers.

I also have the "Mobile Man Cave" (as my bride likes to call it); which is a short school bus converted to a rolling kitchen. It's not yet complete, but does have one set of sinks, plenty of counter space, and satellite radio...it's fun.

Jim

I'll try to get some pictures in a couple of weeks (when I get it cleaned up for my first contest of the year), and post some soon there after.

Long over due...

Post  ILBBQS.com on Fri May 16, 2008 9:59 pm

Okay, so they're long overdue, but I finally got a couple of pictures of the "Mobile Man Cave" last weekend. They're posted on my MySpace site at http://www.myspace.com/banditbbq ...if you don't have a MySpace account and cannot log-in to see them, I will try to get them posted here soon.

Carpe 'Que,
Jim Rhino

P.S. The pictures are in the 'BBQ' folder.

Pictures...

Post  ILBBQS.com on Tue May 20, 2008 9:39 pm

Well, here it is...a few shots of the short bus...

Vending at a local winery's grand opening in October of 2007...

Vending at the same winery May of 2008...

One side of the inside. It's a mess due to us having to quickly throw a bunch of 'stuff' inside to avoid the rain...

Though still very much a work in progress, this is what my bride refers to as 'The Mobile Man Cave'. Very Happy

It's a mess on the inside right now...still need to finish out the plumbing and shelves...but it works great for prepping meat/keeping out of the weather at contests and vending opportunities.

We're competing in 3 more contests in the next 4 weeks...I'll try to get some better pictures of the inside for posting.
