Two questions about the Excel 20
1) I noticed that the tension on the fast release catches is rather different on each one. Some go very easy and others more difficult. Is there a way to adjust it ? As far as I can see it is not, but maybe I overlook something.
2) Are the stackers also porcelain enamelled or powder coated ? I thought that I was told, by the dutch dealer, that all parts are porcelain enamel, but I remember having read here somewhere that the stackers are powder coated. Is there a difference in qualiity and expected lifespan between the two ?

They are riveted on, but if you really wanted to, you could replace the rivets with small machine screws, this would then make them slightly adjustable.

The units you have were produced at a later date than the ones elsewhere and as such have procelain coated stackers.

Re: Two questions about the Excel 20
Thanks Ian for your quick reply.
One more question though: Are these catchers only meant for easier handling/ storing ? Then its not a problem of course. They do hold tight enough for transportation.
Or are they also meant to get a tighter fit between the units ?

Re: Two questions about the Excel 20
They have nothing to do with the fit, so are only there to enable lifting.
