Field of Dreams (BBQ that is)

Hi All,

As some of you may be aware we are having a get together over the bank holiday weekend at Minley Nursery, Tongham, Surrey. We will not be running a comp, it’s a social to discuss plans for the British BBQ Society next year, experiment with styles of cooking ie open pit.

Those that have been here before know there is plenty of space for camping and opportunity to try those wacky ideas you have seen on tv.

As you know I unfortunately can't be there mate. I have to spend the weekend getting hammered in Blackpool as it's my Stag weekend.

I do hope that everyone has a good time over the weekend though and sink a couple of beers for me!

Hi All,

Here is a link to a few pics opf the BBBQS Social, the whole weekend was based around the "pit", we went through a tonne of food including a couple of ribeyes, 22kg lamb, 6 chickens (slaughtered hung plucked gutted and preped on site) potatos (hung in a squirrel trap over the pit) , Sausages & Burgers for the kids (while the big kids played) pizzas, briskett and a some great cakes. Probably missed more than i have mentioned but it was a smokey, beery haze.
