Hi David,

I'm not sure what you mean by "flimsy", as I have an Excel that I've been using for over 2 years now and have never had a problem with the handles.
The Frontiers use exactly the same handles (perhaps you are looking at older models, with the wooden handle).

Well everytime i see pictures of people's smokers they are those wooden handles. My handles are all metal. So im like "WTF" mine didn't come like that. felt like i got a knockoff or something. but now i know how it is. thats fine. ive had mine for about 3 months now and im very happy with it. I want to post pictures but i have no clue whatsoever how to do it and im a pretty computer savy person, so i thought. Very Happy
