How do you calibrate your lid thermometer
I just got my ProQ 20 for Christmas and smoked a turkey for Christmas. It worked perfectly. Although, my Lid Thermometer is off. At grill level on the Digital thermometer reads 230°. At the lid thermometer it read 210°. How do I calibrate the lid thermometer?
Thanks,

Re: How do you calibrate your lid thermometer
To calibrate the thermometer,
take it out of the lid & put the probe in boiling water, it should read 100c
(212f), if not hold the face of the unit, put a spanner on the bolt at the back
& gently twist it until the readout is at the correct temp. Then test again
& repeat fine tuning until the readout is correct.
