G Day from Australia
Ian became a member of our Aussie BBQ forum and that led me here.
I currently use a 4 burner hooded gasser, Webber WSM, Webber kettle OTS, Webber go anywhere, and also use an open fire pit OZ style.
A few of us are very interested in the cold smoker Mac has for sale, Cant wait to get one.
Im 41 YO, Live in the Northern rivers of New South Wales(Near Queensland boarder). Have wife and two boys 5 & 7.
I bbq in some way most nights or days of the week. The weather here allows me to cook outdoors generally right through the year
Ive been interested in cooking since I was a boy and If I didnt get offered an apprenticeship in locksmithing at sixteen, I would have become a chef.
So now cooking is for fun. We are very lucky in Australia in that we have such good produce although our meat, whilst being very good, is killed wat too young to get the big briskets that are available in the US.
Our pork is superb and very lean. I can get good pork Necks(Butts)
Our seafood, Fruit and Veg is second to none.
Hope to have a great time here learning about the way the Brits do it.
