hi Guys, as most will know Laverstock Park are putting on a comp the same weekend as the www.BBBQS.com national comp in July. I just found this and thought it was quite amusing as they struggled to get a few hundred through the gates last year.

TICKETS FOR THE BRITISH BBQ FESTIVAL

THE BRITISH BBQ FESTIVAL.
Sunday 26th July 2009.
Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton, Hampshire, RG25 3DR.
Tickets:

Option 1 - £15: Entry to The British BBQ Festival for 1 car and all it's passengers. Ticket holders are entitled to bring their own food and bbq, or enjoy a Laverstoke Park Farm hog roast or buffalo lunch.

Option 2 - £30: Entry to The British BBQ Festival for 1 car and all its passengers plus a special Laverstoke Park Farm 'meat pack' upon arrival (contains 4 lamb mince sausages, 4 buffalo burgers & 4 pork leg steaks). Visitors will need to bring their own bbq and cooking equipment and can set up within the picnic area of the grounds.

Option 3 - £50: No hassle kit. Includes entry to The British BBQ Festival for 1 car and all its passengers, a Laverstoke 'meat pack' as above, all utensils, cutlery & charcoal and a Hibachi BBQ worth £27.99 for you to take away and re-use.

Ticket holders can literally turn up, collect the above kit and start cooking in the picnic area!
NB: If you are planning to bring your own bbq, please bring stilts for it or underneath protection for the grass.
PLEASE NOTE PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO BOOKING FEE.
