Introducing PropaJob
Found this forum, and although it is very new, I wanted to make a contribution.
The idea of smoking food as opposed to just grilling it, has opened up a much wider outdoor cooking experience for me and my family.
I originally started adding wood pellets to my hooded gas BBQ, but still seemed to be cooking the same traditional BBQ items.
I then got a dedicate smoker, a Brinkmann Gourmet, which served me well for nearly a couple of years.
On the introduction of the ProQ range of smokers, I immediately up graded to a ProQ Frontier, which is the most versatile unit on the market. I have now tried a large variety of foods on this and have been very pleased with the results. Will come back with more information later.
Hope to see many new members on this forum!

Hi PropaJob. I tried pellets a few times, but it doesn't work out so well for me. Look forward to your recipes.

Re: Introducing PropaJob
I have found that pellets work best in a pellet cooker and not so good in just about any other. Chips are a better choice for smoking on a gas grill.
Oh yeah, welcome to the forum.
