Hello from Massachusetts

Post  Burbs on Mon Nov 10, 2008 11:14 am

Hello,

My name is Chris, and I'm from the North Attleboro, MA, which is south east of Boston.

Where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really.

That's a great quote from Austin Powers.

Anyways, I picked up a Weber One Touch Gold this May and I'm really enjoying cooking with charcoal, and experimenting with wood chips.

I did a lot of reading on smoking, and just got my Pro Q Frontier smoker delivered last week. I put it together and just seasoned it. I have had two smokes so far, with the first one a BUST! I did my second one last night and I'm very happy with how it came out.

I'm glad to be a part of the Pro Q family.

Thanks,

Chris
