Re: It's Nearly There!
Thanks Jim!
I'm sure we'll take you up on some of the advertising as soon as we have a plan.
I've just tracked the Excel with all the mods done, and it should be here on Monday
So that means I will probably have to wait all week before I can cook the suckling pig or maybe, I'll fire her up here at the office

Fire her up!
If you can wait until the weekend to fire up the Excel, you're a stronger man than I. I'm afraid I'd have to put it together and light her up as soon as possible just to get her hot and see some smoke!
Looking forward to the report!

Mac, make sure to post some pics when you get it put together and when you do your first cook.
Re: It's Nearly There!
Looking at all of the features has me wanting one bad. I'll be ready to purchase in May. Hopefully you can get these bad boys stateside. I have also had inquiries on my frontier. But I tell them to just hold on cause the "mother of all bullets" will be coming soon.
Tell me something good Ian.

May is perfect timing...
Don't know if you saw the post in one of the other 'rooms', but here's a link for a stateside distributor...

Hi Mack,
What is the finish of the NEW proQ 20?
How long are you exspecting the life of this unit to be?
Im Very tempted, sell it to me!

Re: It's Nearly There!
The base is porcelain coated, the rest is powder coated, not sure how to answer the question "How long are you expecting the life of this unit to be?", as it differs from user to user (some guys are really hard on equipment, like me), but I guess with normal use, there should be at a guess at least 10 years in it.
Rather than try and sell it to you, I think the unit will speak for itself, once they are freely available (I have the only one in the world), they're expected to arrive in the UK by the end of April, besides I may just be a tad biased

Re: It's Nearly There!
Does anyone have an approximate ship date for the Excel to the States? I plan on ordering through Fred's, his site says expected delivery May/June. Any update?
Thanks,
Bill

The container is due to arrive in the States towards the end of May/ beginning of June.
There seems to be a worldwide shortage of container ships at present, as the container was ready to ship on the 24th April, but I can only get it onto a ship on the 12th May, this is causing havoc, not only for us, but for many other BBQ manufacturers.
As soon as I have a definite date I'll let everyone know.
