Leftovers
Nope.. I' not talking about the food..
What do you do with the water in the water pan after the cook?
What do you do with the ashes?
How do you guys clean yours?
Things I do:
1. Take water pan over to the garden and wash it out there. Dry it.
2. Empty ashes (after they've cooled of course) and put into plastic bag for the garbage
3. I haven't cleaned it. Figured thats where the "flavor country" comes from.

Re: Leftovers
I only clean the water pan and cooking grills, then empty the ash out.
The build up left on the body, helps seal the unit.

Re: Leftovers
I put the ashes on the compost heap, I'm using coconut charcoal & it's meant to be ok to do it with that, no nasty chemicals in it.

Re: Leftovers
I have a never ending 'burn pile' in my backyard (for sticks, limbs and such) that I dump the ashes on when finished. Just have to make sure they're completely out...had a little incident last Spring where the burn pile ignited in the middle of the night...oops!
