BBQ Snoot?
Anyone here ever have BBQ Snoot???
It's a pretty regionalized food over on this side of the pond...mostly around the St. Louis, Missouri section of the U.S. There is a joint about an hour from my house that has 'Snoot Sandwich' on their menu...I have been wanting to try it out for sometime, but everytime I went by their place they were either closed or sold out. I was told by the owner that they sell out every day they're open, and I should call ahead to reserve a sandwich if I wanted to try it.
I called. I reserved. I video documented the experience.
Check it out...

Uncle Huffy is a really nice guy and serves up some decent food. Amber (his daughter) is a little honey too, eh?!?!Dr_KY wrote:DUDE!!!!!!!!! That is a excellent video!!!! LOL...I've had these same Ray-Bans since the mid-90's....LOVE 'EM! I had two pairs, but one pair got dropped in the burnt coal pan about a year ago...melted them to a Ray-Ban Pancake. Oops.
I think I'm gonna be headed out on another Rhino Road Trip this Thursday to see the charcoal-being-made process. Stay tuned!

Re: BBQ Snoot?
Well, the general concensus is that it is the cheek portion of the pig. Wikipedia.com offers the following:jenks_24 wrote:I love it!

"Crispy snoots" are yet another popular entree. This term refers to barbecued pig cheeks, which are a tender and fat-rich cut of pork. Crispy snoots gained popularity in the multi-cultural ethnic communities of south St. Louis." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Louis-style_barbecue#cite_note-5 (Cited from: http://chitterlings.com/cgi-bin/chit_index.cgi?noframes;read=51159)
Snoot just sounds more interesting than 'cheek'.
