Choripan

Post  Don Marco on Sun Jul 27, 2008 4:22 pm

Howdy...

Somehow i didnt have the chance to eat any of the argentinian goodness we served the crowd on friday.
So, yesterday i went shopping at our sponsors argentinian meat market and
off course i bought some of their fantastic chorizo sausages.

Just grilled them on the char griller, served them on a nice roasted bread with chimichurri salsa, roasted bell pepper and a small salad and had an icecold Quilmes beer from argentina to that.

Life is good !

Those sausages look REALLY good...making me hungry! Smile

I'm headed up to a winery today to do a little vending...only expecting to serve around 50 people or so...NOTHING close to what you had to endure on Friday. Should be fun!

SUPER easy today...pulled pork, barbeque beans, Dutch slaw. Very small venue, only planned on around selling 50 plated dinners...sold out. Easy peasy, easy money. Have to do these things every now and then to support my barbeque habit you know. Wink

Catering the same location on August 8th (the night before a contest at the same location), for a wedding rehearsal dinner. They want a little more, but nothing extravagent...Brisket, Chicken Quarters, Corn on the Cob, Baked Potatoes, Pasta Salad, iced tea and lemonade. Only about 50 people. We've worked it out so that we're the exclusive bbq vendor/caterer allowed to serve at this winery...makes it nice.

All went well today. Smile
