Hello from K-Town!
Hello everyone,
Thought I'd drop in a say hello to a bunch of great smokers! I'm currently living in Germany (Kindsbach) and thought I'd buy a smoker to remind me of home. You really can't find a lot of places that makes low n slow smoked meat, so why not. I hope you guys can help me. I'm new at this and will need all the help I can get.

I'm originally from Georgia. Lived all over the states and hopefully one day can plant some roots somewhere. Would love to have about 20 acres and spend my time taking care of the old homestead.

What do you currently cook on?
I move a lot, so I currently have a gas grill. Works pretty good, but never up to making great smoked BBQ. I have a Charbroil grill and it does it's job. I really wanted the Frontier to bring a little bit of home here. There's nothing like smoked BBQ!

Re: Hello from K-Town!
Just a little more money than the Frontier and you can have the Excel 20! Check it out on the ProQ website...I think you'll find it to be extremely transportable and a good investment.jenks_24 wrote:ILBBQS.com wrote:Hey Jenx,

It does look nice. I think I'll wet my feet on the frontier for a while. I believe my next step will be to add a stacker. One day my wife will think of me and get the Excel. She may just get it for herself. She really wants to smoke fish.
