Memphis dry rub Empty Memphis dry rub

Here's the rub i use all the time on everything.
4 tsp mild chilli powder
2 tblsp sea salt
2 tsp black ground pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp cayenne pepper
4 tsp mustard seed ground
2 tsp celery seed ground
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 heaped tblsp brown sugar
Mix everything then put in an airtight container.

Finished my last batch of rub on a brisket and pork butt yesterday so think I'll give this a shot next.

I did ribs and whole chicken yesterday and i tend to use this for nearly everything with cherry wood for the smoke flavour, absolutely delicious. You can adjust the heat if its too mild for you we like it as it is, Hope you enjoy it. Smile
