Greetings from Kent
Hi all,
Im very pleased to have found this forum, I taught it was just me who is bbq nuts. After spending quite a bit of time in Texas a few years ago I discovered real q and I realised there was more to bbq than sausages and burgers. I was going to go for a pro q but went for a Weber kettle to get started. Ive got a about 5 books and should be starting my 1st session in a week or so, Ive only just recently aquired a garden. Are there any others in the Kent or London area on the forum ?

Hi and welcome to the forum Daved,
A weber kettle is a good place to start, it's where I acquired my passion for Q some years back.
Ask questions, post pictures and enjoy!

Re: Greetings from Kent
Yeah, that mall is right on the boarder. You wouldn't recognize that area right now. The road that runs north and south (Preston) is 6 lanes with an overpass over 121, and they just opened up an overpass 121 over Preston. We just went over 100,000 residents...I try to avoid that area anymore, too busy for me.
Let me know if you get back over here!
