Buying Gas
Hi
I'm considering buying a Gas BBQ. I have a Calor Gas 4.5KG Butane gas bottle that I got from a friend. We need to have this filled.
Does anyone know how or where we can get this refilled and how long will the gas last for.
Thanks

Try local hardware stors or petrol stations.
Do Gas BBQ's run on butane? I have three or four bottles just hanging around is anyone needs them. I'm in the market for a propane bottle.
Gas bottles can last from days to months depending on how often you use them.
I would consider buy or making ing one that's not powered by gas as it's more excitig to use.

Re: Buying Gas
If you Google "bottled gas", you should get results for Calor or Flogas... either one should have a depot locater (by postcode) to find your nearest outlet.
I would recommend Butane for only the smaller gas BBQ's (2 burners or less), Propane burns at a slightly hotter temperature and is bottled under a bit more pressure, plus has the added advantage of a lower freezing point, should you wish to BBQ in the snow
