Salty VS Sweet

Hey guys,

Having spent almost a year now in the high powered world of smoking, i am curious about what other people like on their meat.

I have found that some people prefer the marinade/rubs to be a bit sweet and others prefer it more salty.

So pipe up and give us your opinions ... sweet or salty? And on what kind of meat?

I prefer my chicken to be salty, my brisket to salty with a slight hint of sweet to it (courtesy of the applejack mop).

I prefer my lamb to be salty also.

All in all i am a salty rather than sweet BBQer
