I'm still pretty new to this, am not part of a team or anything so I don't know what the crack will be about competing, but count me in for competing, judging or just coming down to be there. Anything really, I'm just up the road so it'll be good to come down and meet some of the people from this board.

Hi Steve, dont worry about a team, its all about the experiance, grabbing tips, and having a laugh. Bring your Q and a tent, camp out, a few beers and chill with a bunch of like minded kids........

I was wondering if you had any new news regaeding the contest you are organising. I'm trying to organise the diary for this year, and have been asked to attend a function on that May bank holiday. I would much prefer to be in the south BBQ'in', but I need to make decisions about what were doin'. Could you please keep us posted.

Steve come on down and bring your notepad and camera like the rest of us. We would be more than happy to welcome to into our family for some great times drinking, cooking and all around laughs. The people you meet there will feel like long lost family members.
Toby was camped next to us at the Champioships and although he was jet laged he never missed a beat.

Its all go, just waiting for my logo for the site, I have some great BBQ backing including the two British Jack world champions that will be attending that weekend giving advice and scoring the contest, please please please make the right decision ;-), it will not only be great fun but a great learning experience. On another plus I am very close to persuading my local to supply a couple of kegs for the weekend.

If you need more persuading or an alibi let me know……………………

Hi Jim, if you looked at BBBQS.com (which will be the domain used) thats a generic web site for my other business's. The Work in progress web site is currently at www.SaySausages.com for all that look at it, please bear in mind it is a work in progress, the basis is there but there will be some changes to look feel etc, I havent attached any graphics yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreacited.
