Mother In Law Ribs - Disaster!
Well, as much as I love my MIL (really), I have learnt one important lesson... never send her to buy a rack of ribs!
Initially it was a challenge (she was going to cook them in the oven against my Q'ed ones), sadly she left after tasting mine without completing her part, so I found these at the bottom of the freezer the other day and thought... well I better try and do something with them
Now we all love to post pics of our successful cooks, but I'm known for being different, so here goes...
On they went, suitably rubbed the night before what a waste of rub

Even John couldn't hide his amazement/ horror/ disgust!

The end result ok so maybe I did over do the rub

By chance is that unit to the right of John a dark green color?

The unit could be a little sickly green from having to cook that cut up rack of ribs!
Looks like John had to strap on his 6 shooter, not sure if it was to keep the munch monsters away or to make 'en eat the ribs.
Nothing smells as good as the sweet smoke from a BBQ, U.J.

Mike, that was one of the first models/ prototypes, unfortunately we were unable to perfect the porcelain coating in colours, so we stopped doing it and stuck to black... I think it was Mr Ford that said " you can have any colour as long as it's black" or words to that effect... wise man!
