Locked in a small BBQ at a Pub.

Post  Dr_KY on Mon Oct 20, 2008 3:44 pm

I'm jazzed to be getting out there with the catering type Q you guys get up to.

Locked in a deal with a pub not far from home this weekend that may turn into a monthly event. It's not much money first time around BUT our name is getting out there so I'll take what comes our way at the moment. Very Happy

The open bar tab is a nice addition too.

Anyone know where I can find these over here?

Thanks Mike I can't wait to get started. It's only going to be a small cook this time around so we can see how well it goes over , gotta start somewhere though.
I'll be trying to keep it simple with a few butts or shoulders for pulled pork, Hog-apple beans, bacon wraped chicken and burgers.

Being a pub I think those boats will be the ticket what do you think?

Thanks you know I'm gonna smoke in the Pro Q there too. Cool I'll do the pork ahead of time and smoke a loin or something while we are there.

Just talked to my 'alternate' butcher about the shoulders and he will have them in the morning for me and perhaps show up on Saturday for a demo. He is very interested in smoking so I'll try and get him to sign up here if he's on the internet.
