Ian I have a few questions about the event do you know who I can contact?
Sasha is no linger with this devision.

The championships will be held on the Saturday 14th June 2008 in Ilminster, Somerset.
The championship will be a true test of outdoor cooking with chef’s required to use specialist equipment and cooking to strict rules and regulations.
It is guaranteed to be a great day out filled with fantastic food, a beautiful town to explore and the chance to experience chefs that have mastered the art of barbecuing.
Up to 20 teams of a maximum five chefs to compete for the title of Britain’s BBQ Champions with the winning team to compete for the World title .

I need a bit of where and when information on the last partif you can give some dorection.

Al, it would probably be best to contact them straight off their site.
I know when we had meetings, the issue was discussed, but that was looking at taking a team to the "Jack", not sure if anyone ever concluded this.

I will talk to Colin Capon when I get back next week to see whit, if anything, was resolved.
